Stabbing Near SEPTA Station Leaves Victim Critical: Philadelphia Police

A 40-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was stabbed near a Kensington SEPTA station early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, according to city police.

It happened on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue around 1:50 a.m., authorities said. 

The victim was stabbed once in the left side of the back and rushed to Temple University Hospital, police said. No weapons were recovered from the scene and no suspects are in custody as of midday Wednesday.
